The Cement Industry Federation (CIF) is the national body representing the Australian cement industry. Our members - Adelaide Brighton, Boral Cement and Cement Australia - account for 100 per cent of the integrated production of clinker and cement in Australia.
The CIF’s mission is to promote the key contribution Australian cement manufacturing plays within the Australia economy.
The CIF works with all levels of government to ensure a sound understanding of the impacts of potential decisions on cement industry competitiveness, and to encourage the adoption of supportive policies and programs.
We promote industry self-regulation through informed and responsive decision-making by Member companies.
Our organisation aims to provide information to stakeholders regarding the significant role the cement industry has played in Australia over more than 120 years of operation, a legacy which our members continue to build upon going forward.
The CIF also liaises with other industry organisations on issues of common interest.
